Our enhanced Case Management & Email Engine
We're excited to announce that we have enhanced our CMEngine by adding a secondary email server feature.
Our CMEngine handles all outgoing alerts and case management notifications, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of critical information. It supports various alert types and plays a crucial role in maintaining seamless alerts within a department and with first responders.
When the primary email server fails, the secondary or backup email server feature ensures continuity of email services. This feature automatically takes over the email handling responsibilities when the primary server is unavailable, allowing users to send and receive emails without interruption. The secondary server essentially functions as a failover mechanism, ensuring that email communication remains operational even if the primary server experiences downtime. This setup provides redundancy and improves overall reliability of the email infrastructure.
The primary server attempts to send the email twice, the third time the secondary server kicks in and attempts to send the email. If the secondary fails, the primary tries twice more, then again the secondary.
